Getting around Santa Barbara couldn't be any simpler than riding the Bus. The price of fare is only $1.25 for adults and Seniors and persons with Disabilities only pay $0.60 - Children under 45 inches ride for free. Check out the Schedule over at SBMTD.GOV
The Seaside Shuttle only Costs $0.25 cents and travels up and down State Street from the Arlington Theatre to the Wharf, and along the Beach from the Harbor Area to the Santa Barbara Zoo.
Getting around is fairly easy in Santa Barbara; you either walk, bike, shuttlebus, regular bus, taxi or drive. The first 4 methods are great for general all-around Downtown travels. The last 2 Taxicab and Driving are for longer trips that aren't covered by the bus to your destination.
The Shuttlebus is Great for all Downtown travel along the State Street Corrider, including the Zoo, Harbor and Beachside travels. At only .25 cents per trip it's such a deal, not to mention Pollution Friendly because it's an Electric Shuttlebus.
